Raising It-666: The Teenage Beast.
Résumé/Summary:
In this second instalment of the It-666 's Saga, adopted by the human Walter Workmaster, the Beast is being given a fair chance to live and learn almost like a normal teenager. ‘Almost’, for normality does not apply when It-666 is concerned. Having given her alliegiance to the Archangel Raphael, he offers her his protection but also her monitoring by his strongest henchman of an Angel, Azryel Mortimer, the Death Angel. Azryel is charged to train the youngster as a new recruit of the Angelic Army of Raphael. Despite being reluctant to 'babysit soldier train' the Beast in the chosen hideout to keep the unusual teenager safe, the tree house of Archangel Gabriel, the Death Angel struck a strong and solid friendship with It-666.
Part of his reluctance was due to not be in the forefront line of action as a General to his Angelic Soldiers and to not participate in the daring missions of Archangel Raphael, an Archangel that he likes be almost the shadow of and to protect.
Part came from the fact that the adoptive father of the young Beast, Walter Workmaster doesn't see with a keen eye the plan of the Angels to turn the Beast into a soldier, and the unworded one of Raphael Wrath who sees an asset of power and strengh within It-666 to be used within his Angelic Army in his fights against Demons. For Azryel it meant a very argumentative human, a former human rights lawyer, in Walter monitoring his every interaction with the teenage Beast. The good hearted Human thinks that It-666 should be given the choice of what she wants to become and be allowed to mature up.
Last but not least, the decided place to protect and hide from all the supernatural youngster is the home of Archangel Gabriel, a notriously aloof Angel, one very peculiar, one with dark shadows in his past, one which took a deep interest in the Beast and her care.
Within her tree nest offered by Gabriel, the youngster is raised, finds a firm grounding in the Angelic help, but also the calling of her own heart, surrounded by the affectionate human family of Workmaster who nurtures the remaining years of her childhood.
There she finds a true yet terrifying best friend and confident in the Death Angel. It-666, after participating to Archangel Raphael Wrath's missions, is determined to be his Devoted Soldier but also to earn her Angelic wings. As for the very observant Wrath, despite the fact that the youngster is the true daughter of his eternal enemy fallen Angel Eremiel, he takes her under his wings like a Godfather would in order to protect her from falling into the wrong hands. The Beast built a solid loyalty to the Angels in her formative years.
Within the tree house, It-666 is also being given the taste of what it is to be a child, loved and cared for within a family. Born as a mean to destroy humanity, the hands of the human Walter Workmaster who saved her, adopted her and gave her the chance of her life, are convincing the young Beast to defeat her fate, to be what she wants to be, without being dubbed by whoever, to just follow her heart.
The young Beast does as she falls in a loving devotion of Archangel Gabriel who has been standing by her sides like a caring Angel, supporting her adoptive father Walter. However if Gabriel wants to dismiss her love as puppy love, he cannot disregard his own heart which slowly but surely feels compelled by It-666 in a helpless manner.
Growing love being in the air in the second sequel of the Saga, Walter Workmaster finds the strength to repair his dysfunctional family after a talk with the Death Angel. His wedding provides the last scene of Raising It-666. While Azryel, himself, becomes deeply interested about Liz Arczy, a human with only 6 months to live. The quirky receptionist grabs his attention like no other...
Crashing the wedding of Walter Workmaster are Demons. Attending his Wedding are an Angelic Army. With the Beast being his Bridesmaid, Workmaster has a strong defender so did...
